About the Artist

I’m Courtney Baker and I’m the 2 hands behind Gold Fever Glass. I started experimenting with stained glass in 2014, teaching myself through trial and error. I currently reside in the Nevada desert and grew up in a small, one-square-mile town in Nevada, in a house across the street from miles and miles of open desert. If I wasn’t playing basketball, I was getting lost out there chasing snakes, lizards and UFO’s. There’s something special about the way the desert transforms at night, almost like a portal into another universe. I left my small town after high school graduation to go to college in Reno where I studied History and Biology. I still venture out into to the Nevada desert and play basketball in my spare time.
